Candidate for Wrexham
Duncan has lived in Wrexham for 24 years. He has formerly worked for Oxfam and for 21 years was a community and PR manager for the Co-op in Wales. After taking early retirement - partly to pursue political interests - Duncan has also been involved in local organisations such as the Llangollen to Corwen railway, the cycling charity Sustrans, and the group campaigning for improvements to the Wrexham - Bidston rail service.
Duncan has stood for the Green party in local council elections in Wrexham, as a candidate at the 2015 General election in Clwyd South, as the lead list candidate for north Wales in the 2016 Wales Assembly elections and in the Alyn and Deeside by-election in 2018. He is keen to prioritise the NHS, the need for more investment in public transport locally and regionally, and the issue of global warming / climate change.
